Placebo And Stabbing Westward Co-Headline Spring Tour Also, Sneaker Pimps Remix Placebo

Glam-rock revivalists Placebo and "industrial" rockers Stabbing Westward will hit the road together at the end of February, according to a spokesperson from Virgin Records.
Although no dates have been firmed up at press time, the tour will probably begin in Baltimore on Feb. 25 and hit all major markets around the U.S. through the end of March. The tour is being billed as a co-headlining affair, with Stabbing Westward closing the show. Besides a few sporadic dates around the U.S. in 1998 and a brief stint with Weezer in 1996, this will be Placebo's first full-scale, headlining tour of the States.
In related news, a remix version of Placebo's "Every You Every Me" by the Sneaker Pimps will appear on the Cruel Intentions soundtrack, due in early March on Virgin Records. The Verve's "Bitter Sweet Symphony" is also on the soundtrack.
